Beverly Jean Freels
Evansville, Ind.
Beverly Jean Freels, 78, of Evansville, Ind., passed away on Monday, July 21, 2014 at North Park Nursing Center.
Beverly was born in Evansville, Ind., on May 18, 1936 to the late Henry Chesley Freels and Marie (Robinson) Freels. She retired from Burger King after eight years of service. Beverly liked to draw, travel on bus tours, collect dolls and she was an avid Elvis fan.
Beverly is survived by her sisters, Marinea "Reno" Loraine Gross, of Evansville, Ind., and Candace Darlene Schryver (Craig), of Clarksville, Tenn.; brother, Timothy Dewayne Freels, of Evansville, Ind.; niece and nephews, Randy Blythe (Jill), Michael Solomon (Darla), David Gross, Chris Roeder, Daniel Gross, Kevin Freels, Heath Gross, Angie Fonner-Freels (Chris) and Grant Schryver; great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Sondra Yvonne and William Roeder.
A celebration of Beverly's life will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2014 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Avenue, Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may visit with Beverly's family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 11 a.m. until service time on Friday.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to North Park Nursing Center, especially the Augusta-Cottage Alzheimer's Unit nurse's and staff for the care and compassion shown to Beverly during her stay.
