Daryl Gene Lattner
Evansville, Ind.
Daryl Gene Lattner, 61, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014.
Daryl was born in Evansville, Indiana on October 8, 1952 to the late Henry "Hank" and Rosalie (Borst) Lattner. He graduated from North High School in 1970 and went on to work for Sterling Boiler as a Truck Driver for 30 years where he was a member of their Teamsters. Daryl was an outdoorsman at heart. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, barbecuing, spending time at the family's river camp, "Hanks Landing" and at the Hurm Farm. Daryl's most prized possession was his family. He especially enjoyed being a new grandfather and will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend.
Daryl is survived by his daughter, Andrea Elaine (Jared Utterback) Lattner of Newburgh, IN; son, Brett Alan Lattner of Newburgh, IN; sisters, Linda (Rob) Geiss of Newburgh, IN and Debbie (Kent) Redding of Venetia, PA; brothers, Paul Lattner and Randy Lattner, both of Evansville, IN; granddaughter, Samantha Rose Utterback; the mother of his children, Anita Lattner, and by many nieces and nephews whom he loved as his own.
Daryl is preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Daryl's life will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN with Rev. Steve Clayton officiating. Private entombment will take place on Monday, July 28, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home on Saturday.
