Paul Neville, 80 of Evansville passed away at 3:40 pm, Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at his home.
Paul was born July 22, 1934 in Evansville the son of the late Cecil and Margaret (Yourgans) Neville and was a 1952 graduate of Bosse High School. Paul was a veteran of the US Army. He met his wife, Elvira at a dance, they married, raised their family in Evansville where they worked side by side and owned and operated Neville's IGA grocery store and worked in the apartment business. Paul enjoyed spending time with his wife and friends where they traveled and had many fun adventures. He also enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Paul and Elvira are forever together again.
He is survived by sons, Cecil Neville II (Michele), Paul Neville II (Vicki) and James Neville (Theresa), all of Evansville, grandchildren, Stevie (Denise), Kelly, Christopher (Kyle), Cecil III, Alexander, Michael, Elizabeth, Paul III, Benjamin, Gabriel, James II, Jonathan, Justin, and Jaclyn, great grandchildren, Emma and Charlie and sister, Sara Francis of Cadiz, KY.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Melba Elvira Neville on March 6, 2014 and son, Stephen Neville.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm, Monday, August 4, 2014 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel-A Family Tradition Funeral Home - 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville with Father Alex Zenthoefer officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery, Evansville where the Vanderburgh County Retired Veterans Club will perform full military rites.
Friends may call from 2 pm until 7 pm, Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel-A Family Tradition Funeral Home and again from Noon until time of service at 1 pm, Monday.
