Howard 'Rick' Rieckers
"Rick" Rieckers, age 70, born on March 27, 1944, in Tucson, AZ, passed away August 8, 2014, at Deaconess Main in Evansville.
He was preceded in death by parents, John and Attia Fern (Harvey) Rieckers.
Howard is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marsha; children, Kimberla Ayer, of Newburgh IN, Jerry (Bonita) Rieckers, of Bowling Green, KY, and Jeff Rieckers, of Evansville, IN; five grandchildren, Jessica and Kelsey Ayer, Tessa Rieckers, Soffia and Cade Rieckers; two stepgrandchildren, Brandon and Kerry Miller; great-granddaughter, Jada Ayer; and sister, Barbara Hulsey, of Tucson, AZ.
Rick had 22 years of military service, 101 Airborne Division United States Army, Air National Guard Civil Engineers in Terre Haute IN, Army National Guard Evansville IN. He retired from Alcoa in 2001, after 35 years of service. Rick was a member of Dusty Trails Saddle Club and Boonville American Legion.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at Bradley's Colonial Chapel, 1005 E. Main St. Boonville, IN. 47601 Visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. on Monday and one hr. before service time at the funeral home.
