Herbert "Allan" Scott
Boonville, Ind.
Herbert "Big Al" Scott, 51, died Saturday, August 9, 2014, in Chandler from a logging accident.
He was born May 15, 1963, to John Herbert and Bonita (Warren) Scott while in the United States Army in Stuttgart, Germany.
He went to Boonville High School, he was in track and received a letter for one of their top runners.
He worked for S&S Tree Masters Inc. and was the foreman and Crane Operator there for several years. Before that he worked for Raben Tire and Purcell Tire and changed large mine tires. He loved working and being outdoors and was crazy about fishing at the river where his girlfriend (Rita Bradshaw) and Allan would go fishing a lot. He also liked riding his vast variety of motorcycles and was very creative on fixing things.
Last year he went to Florida with his son, Christopher Allan and his family, and his son took him out several times Deep Sea fishing and they had a great time.
He is survived by his son, Christopher Allan (Julie) and grandchildren, Shalla and Stihl Scott, his parents, John Herbert and Bonita Scott, sister, Denise (Jim) Lambert, niece, Jessica Lambert,niece, Jamie ( Melvin) Flores, Jessica and Jamie are twins, born on Herbert Allan's birthday and he always thought that was a great birthday present, sister, Dana (Roger) Frank, niece, Nakeya Frank, brother, Kevin Scott Sr., girlfriend (Angie) nephews, Kevin Scott Jr. and Jonathan Scott and niece Jessica Scott., dear aunts and uncles he thought the world of, Mark (Cindy) Warren, Monte (Brenda) Warren, Rita (Jeff) Steckler, Byron (Elaine) Warren, Larry (Diane) Warren, Rosella Houchins, Gerry (Arlene) Scott, Monna (Harold) Hart and cousins.
He also had a lot of great friends.
He was preceded in death by his Uncle Boob, Howard Errol Warren, his grandmothers, Cristie Colletta Warren, Allison Scott and his grandpas, Howard Warren and Kenneth Hugh Scott and his niece Leah Alayn Frank.
Big Allan was so much like his grandpa!

Funeral service 2pm Friday, Aug.15 at Koehler Funeral Home-Boonville Chapel. Friends may call and visit Thursday, 2-8pm and Friday 12 noon until service time at the funeral home. Burial in Warren Cemetery on Pigeon Valley Road.
