SaDeria 'Muff' Tyshell Cheatem
Evansville, Ind.
SaDeria Cheatem, 18, departed this life on August 20, 2014 at 5:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born November 6, 1995 to Daryl Cheatem and Sandra Smith.
SaDeria accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Independence Baptist Church. She attended Caze Elementary and Helfrich Park Middle School and graduated from Reitz High School on May 21, 2014. While attending school, she received several honors and awards. She was planning to attend college.
SaDeria was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Grady Outly Smith and Leroy Cheatem; and her aunts, Kim Cheatem, and Gloria Dace.
Left to mourn her passing and cherish her memory are her parents, Daryl Cheatem and Sandra Smith; her grandmothers, Nina Cheatem and Helen Rhea; and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins.
A special thanks to Riley Hospital and Dr. Barry Phillips for their wonderful services and compassionate care.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 29, 2014 at noon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 800 S. Evans Street, Evansville, Ind., with Rev. Gerald Arnold officiating. Visitation from 10 a.m. until service time also at the church. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
