He retired from Sign Crafters.
Al, or "Scotty" as he was called in his younger days, was an avid ten pin bowler and bowled until he was well into his nineties. He will be remembered by those who knew and loved him for his pleasant demeanor and constant smile as well as his teasing nature, corny jokes, and funny anecdotes that he used to put people at ease and get the fun started.
Al is survived by his daughter, Sandra Grieco and husband, Michael, of Davie, Fla.; three grandchildren, Robert Grieco of Kentucky, Donna Woodall of New Hampshire, and Lynda Lusardi of Florida; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2009, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave. Evansville, Indiana, with the Rev. Darin Hendrey officiating. Entombment will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery Mausoleum.
There will be no visitation at Browning Funeral Home.
