Edward Chittenden Obituary

Edward D. Chittenden, Sr., 57, died Sunday, August 15, 2010.
Ed was employed at Alcoa for 30 years and was a member of the Steel Workers Local 104.
He loved to restore cars and go country line dancing. He enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with his family.

Ed is survived by his wife Loretta (Thompson) Chittenden; sons, Edward Chittenden Jr., (Jennifer), and Andrew Chittenden; daughters, Sheila Perkins and Andrea Denton (Ronnie); step-daughter, Stephanie Noffsinger (Brent); step-son, Eric Morgan; and 12 grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 19, 2010, at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Springtown Rd, Evansville Ind. with burial at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Alexander North Chapel.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad.I just found out today from a friend. I wish I knew I would've been there. I am so sorry for your loss. Ed was a nice man, and a friend of my father, Larry Schmidt, who passed away July 1, 2007. I always remember Ed and my dad laughing when they were together. Please accept my sympathies.

Hello,
I just heard about Eddie today and won't be able to attend the visitation. I do want to pass my condolences to all of the family. I haven't been around for awhile, but I enjoyed knowing Eddie when I was in the family and he was always nice with me and I will remember him as a very nice man.
