Clarence Patterson
Evansville, Ind.
Clarence E. "Pat" Patterson, age 84, of Evansville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 29, 2012, at the Westpark Rehabilitation Center.
Clarence had worked as a tool and die maker for Bucyrus Erie for over 35 years and was a member of the Berean Bible Church. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association.
Surviving are his wife of almost 63 years, Geraldine "Jerry" (Williams) Patterson; a daughter, Jann (Frank) Ulrich, of Evansville; two sons, Mike (Ruth) Patterson and Kelly (Amy) Patterson, both of Evansville; two brothers, Lloyd Patterson, of Wadesville and Herschel (Ruth) Patterson, of Yuma, Ariz.; seven grandchildren, Angie Ulrich Slaton, Holly Patterson Pugh, Nick Patterson, Ann Patterson Hopp, Christopher Ulrich, Seth and Evan Patterson; and nine great-grandchildren.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Mayme Patterson; brothers, Herman and Delbert Patterson; and a grandson, Michael Ulrich.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. William Groeneveld officiating. Burial will follow in Big Prairie Cemetery in Epworth, Ill.
Friends may visit with the family from 3 until 8 p.m. Wednesday and from noon until service time on Thursday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Vanderburgh County Humane Society.
