John R. Bell

John Robert "Jack" Bell, 79, of Evansville, IN, peacefully passed away at Pinehaven Health and Rehabilitation on Friday, November 30, while surrounded by his family. Jack is survived by his wife of 58 years, Pat Bell; his daughter, Debbie Kuebler (Carl); his son, Tim Bell (Kathy); his daughter, Shelly Orange (Jeff); and his son, John M. Bell (Sandy). He was also "Paw Paw" to fifteen grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gary Michael Bell. Born on August 28, 1933 to Philbert and Gladys Bell, Jack was an active, loving man who enjoyed spending time with his family, boating and camping. He was a member of the Lessing Lodge, a 33rd degree Mason, an Army veteran of the Korean War, a 55 year member of the I.B.E.W., and a graduate of Benjamin Bosse High School.
Jack always said, "If wealth were measured by love, I'd be the richest man in the World." The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Pinehaven, Holiday Village, and Southern Care Hospice for the love and care they have shown Jack over the last several months.
Services will be held on Tuesday, December, 4 at Sunset Funeral Home at 11am. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with military honors. Friends may visit on Monday from 5-8pm at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in memory of John Bell to Shriner's Hospitals for Children, International Headquarters, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, Florida 33607.
