Howard R. Morris, 86, passed away peacefully at his home on Sat. Jan. 26 with his family by his side.
Howard was the son of Ray and Mary (Kissell) Morris.
He worked at Whirlpool for 21 years and retired from Ayshire Mine after 25 years. He was a member of the UMWA Local 1907. He was a WW II Navy Veteran and a member of the Tennyson American Legion.
Howard loved rabbit hunting and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Suzanne Morris in 2011 after 61 years of marriage and a sister, Norma Miller.
Howard is survived by his son, Brian Morris and his wife, Diana who Howard considered his daughter; two grandchildren, Kassie Morris and finace' Michael Krarian and Courtney Morris; 1 great grandson, Gavin Ray Morris.
Funeral Service 10:00 AM Wed. Jan. 30, 2013 at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel. Burial in Garrison Cemetery near Tennyson with military rites by the Warrick County Veterans Memorial Services.
Friends may call from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tues. and from 9:00 AM until service time Wed. at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Howard may be made to Garrison Cemetery.
