Bill Wisuri, 54, of Evansville, passed away Friday, June 7, 2013, at his home. He was born January 12, 1959, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Bill was owner and operator of MGC Medical Supply Company, LLC and was a landman. He was currently working with White Oak Resources, LLC and American Coal Company, among others.
He graduated from Indiana University and was a pitcher on the IU baseball team. He was elected into the IU Baseball Hall of Fame and the American Softball Association Hall of Fame. Bill loved softball and played on many teams including Winchell Clinic and Barnhill Construction. He was a First Team All-American numerous times and had won many MVP awards throughout his softball career. He enjoyed coaching baseball and basketball and loved watching his children play sports.
Bill attended Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sherri (Snyder) Wisuri; sons, Chaz and Wade; daughter, Mallori; brother, Mike Wisuri; sisters, Sandy Crow and Jean Wisuri; nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Richard Snyder (Jackie) and Jeff Snyder (Sally); and his dog, Sport.
Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Rev. Mitch Gieselman, with cremation to follow. Friends may visit Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
