Phillip Michael Beswick passed away on September 28, 2013 at Cypress Grove Health Care Center. He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Marie Horton (Todd); stepchildren, Lesa, Deric and Brian; his mother, Frances (Weightman) Beswick; sisters, Holly and Amy Beswick, Nila Hite (Steve), all of Evansville, Julie Hawkins of Nashville TN., Rita Crowley (David) of Benson AZ.; brothers, David (Debbie), Mark (Dahna), Brian (Leann); and many nieces and nephews.
Phillip served his country in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post 265 and a life member of VFW Post 1114. He retired from Whirlpool Corporation after 43 years of service. Phillip was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing clabber, was a Yankees fan and liked Dale Earnhardt, Sr.
Services will be held on Wednesday October 2, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home at 10:00 am with visitation on Tuesday from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
