Shellayne Cronin, 52, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014, from injuries sustained in a car accident.
She was born November 23, 1961, to the late James "Bud" and Betty (Davis) Knable. Also preceding her in death are brothers, John and Larry Knable.
She was married on October 23, 1979, to Mark Cronin. Shellayne had worked as a nurse at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Dukes Cumberland Presbyterian Church and she enjoyed collecting jewelry and antiques.
Surviving is her husband, Mark Cronin, of Cloverport; a daughter, Brandi Cronin, of Cloverport; a grandson, Brandon Wirthwein; sisters, Jamie Gross, of Evansville, Holly Basham, of Lewisport, and Patty Morgan, of Troy; brothers, Rick Knable, of Evanston, and Danny Knable, of Tell City.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. CST Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Pastor Kim Wilburn will officiate. Burial will follow in Troy Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
