Johnnie D. Hall

Evansville, Ind.

Johnnie D. Hall, 71, of Evansville, Ind., passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017, at his home. He was born January 21, 1946, to the late Marion and Wanda (Hilt) Hall.

Johnnie owned and operated Halls Custom and Aigner Body Shop for over 47 years. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and served as an Army Ranger, and received the Silver Star and Purple Heart. He was a member of the V.F.W. #1114. Johnnie enjoyed spending time with family, playing the guitar, and had a great passion for cars.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Carolina Hall; sons, Austin and Derek Hall; grandson, Jaxon Hall; and nieces.

In addition to his parents, Johnnie was also preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Garrison.

Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, 6300 N. First Ave., Evansville, IN 47710. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Garrett officiating.

Burial will be at Park Lawn Cemetery where the Retired Veterans Memorial Club will conduct graveside services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 911 E 86th St. Ste 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
