Passed away peacefully on November 29th, 2013, at the age of 84 years. With his loving wife, Marguerite by his side. Aime was born March 22, 1929, in Lac Megantic, Quebec. He was predeceased by his father, Francis Desbiens and mother, Marie Anna Labonte, as well as, his brother, Emile, sister Marie Jeanne, his son's, Randy and Darcy Desbiens, as well as, his first wife, Irene Desbiens. He is survived by his second wife, Marguerite, daughter, Brenda (Dan) Campbell, daughter-in-law, Diana (Brian) Ritchie, Karyl (Allan) Hodge, Darlene (Mike) Gilmour, Susan (Alun) Cooper, Karen (Barak) Evans, Donna (George) Kilkenny, Darren (Tammy) Mannix. Grandchildren, Danielle (Ron), Carla (Craig), Aaron (Michelle), Jerrod (Maryanne), Eric (Devon), Acacia (Mike), 17 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren, two sister-in-laws, Babe Terepocki and Linda Yeager, and many nieces and nephews.

Aime worked at APD sawmill as a sawyer and edger man for 40 years. He was also well known for his singing abilities, expecially as a band member of the "Country Five" which was active in the 1960's and 70's. His family and friends always enjoyed the get togethers when Aime' would sing and play for them, even right up to recent times. He loved life, and enjoyed a good laugh and conversation with people, family and friends meant a lot to him. Another one of his passions was cars, he just loved driving big cars, you just never knew what he would be driving next! He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Saturday, December 7th, 213.
