Jerry D Best, age 82, of Gulf Breeze, passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014.
Jerry was born in Coon, La., and moved to the area in 1970. He was a Christian by faith, and a United States veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed gardening.
His wives, Barbara Best and Evelyn Best, preceded him in death.
Survivors include four children, Marilyn Spencer of Gallatin, Tenn., Robert Best of Holt, Shirley (Randy Grice) Best Yow of Holt, and June (Willie) Bell of Pensacola; three sisters, Joan, Midget, and Daisy; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Feb. 27 at Brackney Funeral Service, Crestview.
