Doris "MeMaw" Miller, 76, of Crestview, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015. She was born Sept. 19, 1938 and was a lifelong Okaloosa County resident. Mrs. Miller was Wesleyan Daycare's assistant director for 19 years. In addition, she was a member of Auburn Pentecostal Church who enjoyed fishing and gardening. Her husband, Billy Joe Miller; brother, James Edward Whiddon; and parents, B and Myrtle Whiddon, preceded her in death. Survivors include her children, Sue (Danny) Kendrick, Ricky Joe Miller, Brenda Love, Sandy (Gary) Morrisey, Larry Miller, Rhonda (Wayne) Dees, Christie Haarmann, and Christopher (Mandi) Owen. Also: grandchildren, Debbie (Joseph) Carr, Kelly Kendrick, Jenny Kendrick, Kristen Miller, Jessica (Donald) Dubose, Kayla (Dimitri) Zachos, Courtney Morrisey, Haley Miller, Lacey Miller, Derrick Bryan, Dexter Steele, Corey Haarmann, Alysa Haarmann, Brooke Tolliver, Ryleigh Owen; and 10 great grandchildren. Brackney Funeral Service in Crestview is providing arrangements. The family received friends Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the church. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31 at Auburn Pentecostal Church, with Pastor Ron Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in the Liveoak Baptist Church Cemetery.
