Elizabeth A. Jenus passed away unexpected Friday, June 21, 2013 at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center from a brain aneurism.
She was born Dec. 20, 1968 in Richmond, Va., to Lawrence (Larry) and Barbara Smith of Crestview. She was predeceased by her infant brother, Marty, and sister, Carolyn Adele; grandparents, Raymond and Geraldine Smith of Chattanooga, Tenn. and William O. and Alice Jeanette McKim of Richmond, Va.; uncle, Raymond Bradford Smith and aunt, Brenda Massey.
Survivors besides her parents include her husband, Carl Jenus, and sons, Michael (Cassie) Devlin Jr. and Joseph Kubacki of Fort Walton Beach; granddaughter, Aria Lynn Devlin, Fort Walton Beach; brother, William R. Smith of Marion, Ohio, and sister, Dottie Smith of Crestview; uncle, William G. (Helen) McKim of Richmond; aunt, Lois Tredway of Glen Allen, Va.; Ashley Richbourg and Peerless Ward of Crestview; cousins in Virginia and Georgia; father- and mother-in-law, Joe and Hilma Jenus, of Fort Walton Beach; special friends Cindy and Samantha Polinder and Jeremy and Kris Ward; and her extended Smith family in Tennessee.
Beth worked at High Tide Restaurant in Destin. Beth loved the outdoors and her dog, Shadow. She loved life, camping, hiking and canoeing.
Beth was an organ donor by request.
Her family is planning a memorial service later at the home on Forest Ave., Fort Walton Beach.
