Raymond Ernest Moon, 81, after a loving and Christ-filled life, went to his eternal heavenly home.
Ray had recently moved to Crestview from Tarpon Springs, where his love and influence continued to spread. He was known for his strong faith, strength, sense of adventure, and love for people.
Born in Tallahassee on Dec. 5, 1932 to Fred and Madge Moon, Ray's life and love of scuba diving, spear fishing, hunting, need for speed racing and lightning trucks began. Ray was fortunate to retire from two jobs that he loved: Carlisle Motors and Bill Jackson's, the highlight of his life. He was a scuba technician and instructor there. He enjoyed traveling and experiencing dive locations all over the world.
His loving wife Pamela; children, Cindy and Rick; grandchildren, Jason and Caithlyn; loving stepmom, Judy Moon; stepchildren, Greg and Melissa; grandchildren Katie, Anna, and Ashley; and sister and brother-in-law Libby and David survive Ray.
