Hazel Ruth Collins, 65, of Crestview, died Friday, Dec. 6, 2013. Hazel was born June 26, 1948 in Andalusia, Ala., to Cardell and Willie Mae Law.

Her loving husband, Mr. Jesse Frank Collins, preceded her in death.
She leaves two sons, Jeffrey (Ramona) Hughes, Richmond, Va., and Rodney Law, Evergreen, Ala.; and four sisters, Lillie (Robert) Rutland, Martha Hill and Sherry Holden, all of Crestview, and Mary Brooks of Jacksonville.
Survivors also include two grandchildren, Rodney Law II of Evergreen, and Ronald Hence of Richmond; and one aunt, Jewel (Dankey) Crittenden of Andalusia.
She also leaves four nieces, Valarie Rutland and Tonja Holden of Crestview, and Krystal Lewis-Rolle (Deangelo) and Courtney Mosley of Jacksonville; one nephew, Demetrius Holden of Crestview; a host of cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews; and other relatives and friends.
All will cherish her memory.
Viewing is 10-10:50 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 603 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., Crestview. An 11 a.m. home-going service and interment at Rockhill Cemetery, Rockhill, with McKinnie Funeral Home directing, will follow.
