Ken Campbell, 83, of Baker, died Tuesday night, April 30, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family. Born Nov. 1, 1929, in Elizabethton, Tenn., he had lived in Okaloosa County since 1989. He was a jack-of-all-trades and enjoyed working. Ken enjoyed spending time with his family and working outside. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Ken's parents, Earl Lee Campbell and Mary Elizabeth Williams Campbell, and three children, Della Arnold, Ann Watson and Lee Campbell, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Laurie Badger Campbell; five children, Chelsea Campbell, Cameron (Heather) Campbell, Robert (Helen) Campbell, Mary Short, and Lillian Ballard; two brothers, Robert (Betty) Campbell and Alfred Campbell; two sisters, Margaret Bourne and Cathy (Mike) Fraizer; father- and mother-in-law, Skip and Jane Badger; brother-in-law, Rick (Wynell) Badger and children; and sister in law: Jimmie (Eddie) Chessher and children. Survivors also include nine grandchildren, Lynalice, Victor, Robert (Skeeter), Joy, Mary, Amy, Kenny, Crystal and Isabella; numerous great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A celebration of life was 11 a.m. May 6 at the Brackney Funeral Service chapel, with Tom Dugan officiating. The family received friends one hour prior to the service.
Brackney Funeral Service, Crestview, was in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Covenant Hospice are acceptable.
