Kilmer Morris Christopherson Obituary
Kilmer Christopherson, age 65, of McIntosh, MN, passed away on Monday, August 13th, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 20th, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fosston with Father John Melkies Suvakeen and Father Dave Super presiding. Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery Hansville, rural Fosston. Visitation will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 5:30 p.m. followed by a 6:00 p.m. prayer service on Sunday, August 19th, and for one hour prior to the service on Monday. All visitation will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fosston. Arrangements are with the Carlin Funeral Home, serving McIntosh. Messages of condolence may be sent at www.carlinfuneral.com.

Kilmer Morris Christopherson was born on October 4, 1952 in Fosston, Minnesota to parents Kilmer and Ruby Thompson Christopherson. He grew up and attended school in McIntosh. Kilmer worked in the family restaurant business in McIntosh, did mechanic work in town and also helped area farmers with their field work.

Kilmer was united in marriage to Dianne Cullen on October 26, 1990 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in McIntosh. After their marriage, they lived and raised their family in McIntosh. He worked at custodian at Win-E-Mac School for several years until his retirement.

Kilmer enjoyed going to auction sales, woodworking, deer hunting, working on lawn mowers and tinkering in his garage. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Dianne, of McIntosh; two daughters, Jill (Brett) Schulz of Crookston, MN, and Samantha (Corey) Rasmussen of Grand Forks, ND; two grandchildren, Katelynn and Taylor Schulz; father and mother-in-law, John and Louise Cullen of Fosston; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lynn (Bromley) Carr, Bonita (Jeff Cole) Cullen, Donna (Alden) Skadsem, John Cullen, Dan Cullen, and Edward (Lynne) Cullen; and one sister, Marcy (Al Bauer) Wessman. Other relatives also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and mother-in-law, Jan Cullen.
