Finley, Jordan - Derby  
Finley, Jordan Jordan McClaine Finley, age 34, of Derby, entered into rest on Friday June 24, 2016 at Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Jordan was born on July 31, 1981, the beloved son of Wayne A. and Carolyn Guarascio Finley. Jordan was a graduate of Shelton High School Class of 1999, and Johnson and Wales College Class of 2003 He began his 20 year career in the restaurant and hospitality industry at the age of 15, and was presently the owner and operator of Glow Tan on the West Haven Milford town line. He enjoyed all outdoor activities including riding motorcycles, jet skiing, boating, skiing, and snowboarding. He is the devoted brother of Rachel Finley Goad and her husband Edward, adoring uncle of Ashton James Goad, nephew of Donald Finley and his wife Geri. He is the cousin of Karisa, Shauna, and Taryn. He also leaves his loving girlfriend Julie Trcka. Friends may greet his family on Monday, June 27, 2016 at the Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Road Shelton. On Tuesday, June 28, 2016 friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Gabriel Church 26 Broadway Milford CT. Burial will follow in Lawn Cemetery Shelton. Fleming, James - Stratford  
Fleming, James James Fleming, age 95 of Stratford passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the widower of Christine Sutton Fleming. Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on February 12, 1921 he was a son of the late Thomas and Geraldine Curran Fleming. James had worked as a machinist for 28 years at Warner Packaging Co. in Bridgeport before his retirement. He enjoyed reading, watching golf and was an avid Mets and Jets fan. James was a member of the Gaelic American Club and loved singing Irish rebel songs and spent many hours telling stories about his family and life in Ireland. He was a dedicated and loving father to Geraldine Crolla of Milford, Patricia Taylor and her husband Brian of Bloomfield and Richard Fleming who predeceased him in 2006. He is survived by his sister Selina (Lallie) Fleming of Monroe and daughter in-law Pat Fleming of Hamden. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Amber (Seth) Delpha, Aimee (Michael) Wong, Amanda Crolla, Keith (Maren) Fleming, Christine (John) Fredyna, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his beloved wife Christine and his son Richard he was predeceased by his siblings; Thomas and Richard Fleming, Rita Carolan, Geraldine Devlin, Nancy Connolly and Marie Fleming. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 9:00 am at St. James Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be held privately in Union Cemetery. Farkas, John - Stratford  
Farkas, John E. John E. Farkas, age 91 of Stratford passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at St. Vincent Medical Center. He was the widower of Theresa Dolores Mailloux Farkas. Born in Bridgeport on August 4, 1924 he was a son of the late Joseph and Julia Tury Farkas. John was a proud US Army Veteran serving during WWII in France and Germany. He and his 3 brothers are honored with bricks at the Bridgeport WWII Memorial on Broad St. in downtown Bridgeport. He worked for several companies and shops in the Bridgeport area. His final position was that of a foreman in the parts department at the US Baird Corp for 25 years until his retirement in 1990. John was a treasure to all who know him, even down to his nurses in St. Vincent's Hospital, who thought he was the "Cutest thing!" He had a smile that was contagious! He always put his family first and was always there for anyone of them, whatever their needs may have been. In his more active years he was an avid golfer, won his share of bowling league trophies and pitched and played other positions on several shop baseball teams. His love of sports included being a life-long Yankee Fan. People thought his apartment was a shrine to the Bronx Bombers. He was one of a kind and loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his devoted and loving daughter JoAnne Rollins and her husband Jim of West Haven. He was an exceptional and active grandfather to Jennifer Rollins of West Haven and Sandy Biggie and her husband Brian of Wakefield, MA. He is also survived by his brother Stephen (Pete) Farkas of Idaho, brother in-law and good friend; Joseph Seiger of Milford, brother in-law Richard Mailloux and his wife Dot of Fort Plain, NY and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his beloved wife Dolores and his parents he was predeceased by his siblings; Joseph Farkas, Eugene Farkas, Regina Takacs, Julia Cratty, Helen Galemba and Irene Seiger. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 10:30 AM at the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford with Deacon Raymond Chervenak officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may greet the family on Friday, June 24, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Filce, Robert M. - Bridgeport  
Filce, Robert M. Robert M. Filce, age 49, of Bridgeport passed away on Tuesday June 21, 2016 at the Bridgeport Hospital . Robert was born in New York and was a Bridgeport resident. He was a self-employed Hairdresser. He loved to spend time outdoors, especially walking his dogs. He is survived by his husband; Lance Gray, of Bridgeport, a sister Kathleen Terrano, of NY. Two nephews: Matthew and Daniel Terrano, his moth-in-law Lynnetta Gray of Indiana. Visitation will take place on Friday at the Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Ave, Bridgeport from 5 to 8 pm. All other services will be private.

Foley, Madelyn - Fairfield  
Foley, Madelyn M. Madelyn M. Foley, age 86, a longtime Fairfield resident, beloved wife of the late Raymond F. Foley, was called home peacefully to God on Thursday June 16, 2016 with her loving family by her side. She was born and raised in Bridgeport and attended St. Augustine Parochial School, Lauralton Hall and Weylister Junior College becoming a private secretary for a stock broker. Later she worked for many years as a substitute teacher in the Bridgeport school system until becoming a devoted mother to her beloved children and later her nine beloved grandchildren. This was her true calling in life. Madelyn enjoyed volunteering her time at Our Lady of the Assumption school in Fairfield and was a past member of the Ladies Guild. She loved traveling, gardening and hosting many family events, holidays and picnics with her family and friends. In later years she worked at the Fairfield University Library. Madelyn also maintained a life-long devotion to the Blessed Mother. Survivors include her children Mary Ramsey and her husband Mark of Trumbull, Elaine Flanagan and her husband Daniel of Easton, Dr. Raymond Foley and his wife Diane of Burlington, CT, Robert Foley and his wife Stephanie of Trumbull and Carolyn Brown and her husband Martin of Easton; 9 beloved grandchildren, Meredith and Emily Ramsey, Matthew Flanagan, Colleen, Jack and Brendan Foley, Colin, Elizabeth and Erin Foley, sister Margaret Burbank of Beaumont, TX, brother John Shuk of LaMesa, CA and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother Raymond Shuk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 10:00 AM meeting DIRECTLY at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Rd., Fairfield with interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Fratarcangeli, Giuseppe - Bridgeport  
Fratarcangeli, Giuseppe Giuseppe Fratarcangeli, age 92, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 24, 1924 in Ripi, Italy to Antonio and Angelina Fratarcangeli. When he arrived from Italy in his early twenties he lived in Connecticut and New York and worked as a construction laborer. He eventually met his now deceased wife, America, also from Ripi, Italy, and moved to Bridgeport where he has lived since. After marriage he owned an Italian grocery store, and after selling the business worked as a tile mason. He continued working as a self-employed tile mason until retirement. Giuseppe was very social and had a very active life well into his later years. He was very generous and was always there to help friends with whatever they needed him for. He had an active interest in Italian opera and literature. He especially loved singing versus from famous operas and quoting Italian authors. Giuseppe is survived by his two children, Claudio Fratarcangeli and his wife Lisa of Fairfield, and Mirella Feather and her husband Robert also of Fairfield; two grandchildren, Bianca and Angela Fratarcangeli, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife America (Bauco) in 2005, his parents, Antonio and Angelina Fratarcangeli and siblings, Lucia Marandola, Bianca Faustini and Michellina Venditti. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford.
