Donald Rogowskey of Ft. Myers, Fl. passed away on July 4, 2013. He was the devoted husband of Janis Rogowskey who precede him in death. Don was a kind and loving man and will be missed. He loved to sing, especially barbershop and in church choirs and very involved in the United Church of Christ wherever he lived. He was born in Chicago, Il. on January 7. 1926 and lived in Westport, Ct. for 33 years. He graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Chemical Engineering and was commissioned in the U.S. Navy. Don and Jan were married August 16, 1947. Don worked for several chemical companies before owning and working in an art store in Greenwich, Ct. He was an artist and was know around Shell Point Village in Fort Myers for his renderings of people's pets. He is survived by his sons Tom(Wendy) and Steve(Nancy) and grand children Steve Jr., Amy, Kim, and Sarah.
