Louis David Mazzadra. Age 78 of Stratford passed away in his home. Louis was born in Bridgeport on June 15, 1935 a son of the late Angelo Alfred Mazzadra and Lucy C. Sanzare Mazzadra. He was a machinist at AVCO for many years and was the owner of the former Dip & Strip Furniture Striping Co.. Louis was an avid collector of antique furniture. He proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict as a US Marine. He is survived by his children; Chris Mazzadra of Milford, Patricia Mazzadra of Stratford and Jo-Ann Gaidosz and her husband John of Derby. He is also survived by his sisters; Paulette Twitty of Milford and Judith Bell of TN. His grandchildren Melissa Mazzadra and Jessica DePaola; and two great-grandchildren, Alexis and Jacob; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his daughter Linda Mazzadra. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 10:00 am at the Dennis & D'Arcy - Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford.
