Patricia Ann Dobbs Tutoli, age 67, entered into eternal peace on Monday, February 11, 2013 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of 28 years to Richard J. Tutoli, a retired Lieutenant with the Bridgeport Fire Department.
Pat was born in Bridgeport, to the late Jean Monks Dobbs and the late Gilbert Dobbs. She was a lifelong resident. She attended Central High School, graduating in 1963. She was employed for 24 years at the Southern New England Telephone Company as an operator, and was active in her union's politics, serving as CUTW Business Agent, Local II. Pat was known and loved by her family and friends for her generous and selfless heart. Her kindness and altruism were well known and limitless. She never missed the chance to call and wish (sing) all of her loved ones"Happy Birthday." She volunteered her services to many causes and organizations, from Breast Cancer
to Little League. Pat worked for many years as a volunteer for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, organizing fundraising events and working on the Jerry Lewis Telethons. Pat was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend…and yes, Yankee fan. Pat is survived by her son, and the greatest joy of her life, Gary Tutoli, of New Bedford, Mass. Pat is also survived by her brother, Richard Dobbs and his wife Didi, of Easton; her sisters , Kathy Grindrod and her husband Al, of Stratford; Maureen Kelley of Bridgeport; Susan Laveneziana and her husband Joe, of Shelton; and sister in-law Annette Dobbs of Stratford. Pat is predeceased by her brother, James Dobbs. She is lovingly remembered by fifteen nieces and nephews and twenty-five great nieces and nephews, to whom she will always be known as "Aunt Pat."
A Memorial Mass will take place on Tuesday February 19TH at 10:00 am at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church Bridgeport. Burial will be private. Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Ave Bridgeport is in care of arrangements
