Ralph F. Aliberti, age 89 of Bridgeport, the beloved husband of the late Antoinette (Leonzi) Aliberti, entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 2, 2012 in Hewitt Health and Rehabilitation Center, Shelton with his loving family by his side. Born in Bridgeport on May 31, 1923, he was the son of the late Gerard and Adeline (Antonini) Aliberti and was a Bridgeport resident all of his life. Ralph was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, and was in the Battle of the Bulge, stormed Normandy Beach and was awarded a Bronze Star. He was an avid Yankee fan. Survivors include his beloved children, Ralph Aliberti and wife Georgette, Stephen Aliberti and wife Gene, and Nancy Convertito and husband Ralph, his loving grandchildren, Lisa Krupienski and husband David, Jason Aliberti and wife Amanda, Jeff Aliberti and wife Marquetta, Scott Aliberti and wife Marcia, Corey Convertito and wife Johannah, Kyle Convertito, and Casey Convertito, his six great grandchildren, a sister, Helen Gaudette, and a brother, Gaetano Aliberti, and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 9:30 AM DIRECTLY in St. Margaret's Shrine, 2539 Park Ave., Bridgeport with a Mass of the Christian Burial.
