Angal, Robert S.
Robert S. Angal age 79 of Bridgeport passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 after a short battle with cancer. He was the son of the late Alexander and Mary Nowakowska Angal. Born November 11, 1933, he was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport. After graduating Bassick H.S. he served in the Navy as a sonar technician where he learned his trade in electronics. After the Navy he started his own business, Angal's Television Repair of which he retired from a few years ago. He was a fun loving man who enjoyed all aspects of life. Robert's favorite sport was fishing, especially deep sea. He also loved going to Mohegan Sun, visiting the horse racing tracks and spending time with his dog Duke. He is survived by his sister Irene Filippone and predeceased by his brother Alexander Angal III and sister-in-law Eleanor Gaydos Angal. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. At Robert's request services were private. The Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main St. Bridgeport was in charge of arrangements.
