Jean Beaudoin Obituary

BEAUDOIN Jean Quick Beaudoin, age 74 of Shelton, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2011. Born in Bridgeport, she was married to Philippe Beaudoin for 51 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sisters, Carol England of Littlestown, Pa. and Mary Johnson of Albuquerque, N.M.; a brother, Edward Quick of Shelton; and five children, Mark Beaudoin and wife, Pamela of Westport, Mary Beth Detuzzi and husband, Richard of Naugatuck, Joseph Beaudoin and wife, Jenny of Brick, N.J., James Beaudoin and wife, Tammy of Lakeland, Fls., and John Beaudoin and wife, Loren of Shelton. She leaves 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her parents, Harvey and Cecilia (Lagor) Quick. Prior to marrying Phillipe, she was an x-ray technician at Bridgeport Hospital. A devout Roman Catholic and an active member of St. Lawrence Parish since moving to Shelton in 1963, Jean was a member of St. Lawrence's Folk Group and Ladies Guild. Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave., Shelton on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will take place at Lawn Cemetery in the spring. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. in The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
