Hunyadi, Frank "Bob"
HUNYADI - Frank Robert "Bob" Hunyadi, age 77 of Stratford, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2014 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mr. Hunyadi was born December 30, 1936 in Bridgeport, son of the late Frank and Catherine (Creagh) Hunyadi and had been a lifetime area resident. He was retired from Schick and Columbia Records and was a Volunteer for the Saint James Food Pantry. Survivors include his cousins, Steve Chalfa, Jean Carmody, Dr. Nicolai Chalfa, Ilona Gienger, Patti McCormick and Bill Creagh. Friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Monday, August 25, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main Street, Stratford and at 10:30 a.m. in Saint James Church, Stratford for a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Bob,may you rest in peace.I have such fond memories of you,when,as children,we would enjoy summer vacation at your house,playing ball,riding bikes,etc.Those were the best days of our lives.Thank you for being a great cousin.
