Jean S. O'Neill, age 83, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late John J. O'Neill, died peacefully December 11, 2016 at her home in Stratford, CT. Born in Wilton, CT to the late R. Raymond and Frances Schreyer Studwell, she resided in Norwalk until moving to Stratford in 1973. Jean worked at Pepperidge Farm in Norwalk, co-founded/owned Suburban Limousine, Airport Taxi and Cargo Inc., all of Stratford, and worked at Katherine O'Connor Real Estate in Stratford. She is survived by 11 children and their spouses: Jean (Robert) Babis of Stratford, Patricia Tesla of Shelton, John (Paula) O'Neill of Bridgeport, Kathleen Beardsworth of Stratford, Elizabeth (David) Rideout of Terryville, Julia (Richard) Kovach of Stratford, Jacqueline (Gary) Hineson of Benton, KY, Michael O'Neill of Shelton, Matthew (Dena) O'Neill of Stratford, Henry (Susan) O'Neill of Rocklin, CA and Sheila O'Neill of New Bern, NC; one sister: Marion Sharkany; 30 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many, many nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband of 38 years and her parents, she was pre-deceased by brothers: Robert and George Studwell and sister: Dorothy Krosky. The family wishes to extend heartfelt appreciation to the many care professionals and all who eased her Alzheimer's journey. Friends and family are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. by meeting directly at Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 651 Stratford Road, in the Lordship section of Stratford. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Daniels Farm Road, Trumbull. Calling hours will be Friday, December 16, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the William R.
