Pasquale Ferrante

FERRANTE Pasquale Ferrante, age 89, beloved husband of Settimia Savo Ferrante of Bridgeport, died on Tuesday, September 24, 2002, at St. Vincent`s Medical Center, Bridgeport. Born in Ripi, province of Frosinone, Italy, on July 19, 1913, he was the son of the late Antonio and Angelina Conciatore Ferrante. Mr. Ferrante was a decorated World War II veteran of the Italian Army and immigrated to the United States in 1962, and resided in Bridgeport since. He worked as a union mason for Local 665 of Bridgeport. He was employed with the Ardmare Construction Co. of Bridgeport, and the former E & F Construction Co. until his retirement in 1975. He was an avid gardener and will be remembered for his passion for gardening. In addition to his wife, Mr. Ferrante is survived by his devoted son, Egidio Ferrante and his wife, Marisa, of Trumbull; a sister, Francesca Constantini and her husband, Quirino, of Italy; beloved granddaughters, Maria Minopoli and her husband, Alfonso, of Shelton, Cinzia Roe and her husband, Duane, of Trumbull, and Sandra Ferrante of Florida; cherished great-grandchildren, Joshua, Marco, Sonia and Joseph. He was predeceased by a brother, Arcangelo Ferrante; and a sister, Maria Cortina. Funeral services will take place from the Spadaccino Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike (Route 111), Monroe, on Saturday, September 28, 2002, at 8:45 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Margaret Shrine, 2539 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, at 10 a.m. Entombment will be in the Chapel Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
