Dear Heather,
My deepest sympathies are with you and your family. I will always remember Kenny foundly as part of my youth. He was one of those special Coaches who taught much more than how to play basketball. His lessons included that if you work hard, have dedication and humility, great things will happen. He taught the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts. He taught patience, respect and discipline. By his mentorship he helped define in a positive way who I am today, probably more so than he knew, but I want you to know now how thankful I am to him. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Heather and Family,
Our sympathies to your family. To know Kenny was to love to Kenny. He used to come into our shop(Alexander's) and just chat and laugh. His spirit will remain for the rest of the days. He was so in love with his children and family.
You will all remain in our prayers.

I felt so lucky to know Mr. Liberman, so appreciated in his presence, and so honored to be in attendance at the service today. Thank you, Mr. Liberman, for always being nice to me when I needed it most, for all your hospitality over the years, for making me laugh, and for being my away-from-home dad. I am truly grateful for every moment I spent with you. To my best friend Sarah and the whole beautiful Liberman family, Connecticut is my home away from home and all of you are family to me. I love you.

Ari,
May your dad's memory remain a blessing. I have fond memories of stopping at the cleaners and seeing his smiling face--it's an important memory of my childhood in Trumbull. Best to Heather, your siblings, and your kids.

My heart goes out to your family. I met Kenny when Jeff and Lynn first started dating over twenty five years ago. He always made me feel like I was part of his family. When I think of Kenny I remember that he always had a hilarious wit and kind heart. Ken did not have much ego. He was brilliant but downplayed his intelligence as an everyman kind of person. I will remember him as a loving family man very much like his Dad Lester. Lucky to know a person like that....

Ken added joy into the Rawlins family home. His generous time and passion dedicated to the girls' soccer team was always respected. Phil loved to join the Saturday morning talkfest at Top Hat. Ken is remembered and prayed for by all of us.

Heather, Ari, Sarah, Kyle and family,
Nancy and I are heart broken and Ken will always hold a place in our hearts and with our family. He was a caring individual who gave much and asked nothing in return. He was a friend to all of us and I so enjoyed the interaction on those interests we shared in common. I learned much and hopefully gave something back. I will miss our conversations and the solving of every issue from world politics to UConn Women Basketball substitution patterns.

Thirty-five years ago I met Kenny as I moved into my condo. He will live in my memory - and all of yours, I'm sure - as one of the most loving, giving, and special people I have ever met. He knew exactly who he was, and found it easy to express his feelings. My life has been greatly touched by the presence of Kenny. Heartfelt condolences to the Liberman family, especially to Heather, Mrs. Liberman, Ari, Sarah, and Kyle.
