Josh! I knew you since Curiale days and I watched you grow! You were quiet back then but always had a good head on your shoulders. Smart, Talented! And then when we got to Bassick you stayed the same! Always handling what you had to do! And I respect you for that! I'm glad that I got to know a kid like you! And graduated with a kid like you! You were a great role model! And hopefully others remember you for that.

Bub you will be truly missed, as I think and reminisce you was always there when I was down you will always say something random to make me laugh. Advisory you was the best to you stayed in my advisory saying "crasy 8s ebs? you know you qoin to loose ahhh" I honestly can’t believe you are gone I just spoke to you and your last words to me after our coversation was “I’m good you know.” This repeats in my head you have gone to soon but you are in a better place now. I love you men. My heart goes out to your family and everyone else who is grieving.

My Little cousin Josh...I'm sadden by the circumstances but encouraged when I hear about your sucess in school and see all the basketball pics of you. It was evident that you were a " shining star"! And because of this I will try not to focus on our loss but I will continue to celebrate your life and legacy that you left behind. Dear josh I love you so much and I neverd stop I want u too know that. We been through alot of stuff together but through all of that you always managed to smile. Remember the first night we kissed you came to meet at the corner of boston and eastmain to go to your mom house. When I seen you I had a big smile and you did too and you was like can I get my kiss now lol and then it started snowing and I was like yeah. I wish I didnt have to move that way I could of spent every moment with you I love looking at your big brown eyes I miss playin in your hair. The last time I saw you we hung out for a while at the bball court I was so happy to see you cause we lost contact and the last time I talk to you this september I'll never forget it I said whos this, and said you buba, I said no this not your name is joshua. We laughed I said how are you doin, you said im doing fine I said I miss you, what happen to you you said I been busy and I said oh hows your mom you said fine when you coming back up here, I said I dont know Im trying to start school next week you said thats good then you had to hang up cause your cousin wanted to do something we said goodbye talk to you later ................ when later comes i have alot to tell you I love u Josh

I must've cried about thousand tears for you ; I must've spoke a thousand words to try to give myself comfort but nothin worked ! I cant imagine what your family is going through but I send my sympathy ! your words ring in my head over and over again ... and each time I hear them I feel like I can hear you speak for the first time ! I never thought that the last time I saw you it would really be the last time ! I miss you so much I cant even put it in words ' nothing I say can change the fact that your gone ! I sat at the park the other day imagining that you were there ballin ! You were my hero bubs ; you were my star ; you remember what I told you that ima be ya biggest fan once you make it to the NBA ! lml good times and you would say yeah you gone be in tha stands screamin my name ! you always had way wit me makin me laugh and you had a way of scaring me too ! All I can do is keep you in my heart and hold on to the memories that we shared together ! Everyone misses you and I promise to never forget about you ! I remember being with you in the fourth to sixth grade and you were always the one person that the entire class would look up to and just had the utmost respect for. You were great in everything from sports to academics and we all wished to be like you. You just had a way to put a smile on everyone's face.The last time I saw you was in sixth grade in Mrs.Yates class. It was truly a blessing and a honor to have been in your presence for that time.
My heart goes out to the family because you were an amazing individual. Rest in Peace Joshua, you have eternal life singing, laughing, and dancing with the King of Kings. Your now an official Prince. "Joy and happiness peace of mind". I love you and I'll never forget you. God bless you.
