Alfred Raigue Obituary
Alfred H. Raigue, Sr. of Englewood, FL, previously of Milford, CT, passed away on January 10, 2013. Alfred was predeceased by his wife, Thelma. While Alfred was a resident of Connecticut, he was a member of the Connecticut Hurricanes and the Skyliners, Drum & Bugle Corps. He also was a manager for the American Legion Baseball Teams out of the Bridgeport American Legion Post.
Upon retiring in Florida, he enjoyed playing in a Seniors League Softball Team, attending antique shows, fishing, taking cruises and trips to the casino, taking care of his garden and caring for his dog "Teddy".
Alfred leaves behind a daughter Diana Barry and her husband Neil of Shelton, CT; daughter Delores; son Alfred Jr. and daughter Ida all of Jupiter, FL. He also leaves 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A military funeral was held on January 16th at the Sarasota National Veteran's Cemetery. Donations in Alfred's memory can be made to any local Veteran's organization.
