Alfredo Luna Obituary
Alfredo Luna, Sr., age 75, resident of Milford and beloved husband to Mercedes Perez Luna, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 07, 2014 at CT Hospice in Branford. Born in Puerto Rico on October 12, 1938, he was the son of the late Ruffino and Alvera Luna. Prior to his retirement, Alfredo was a machinist for Mobil Chemical. Devoted to his family, he also was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching baseball. Loving and generous husband father, grandfather and brother, he will be deeply missed.
In addition to his wife Mercedes of 51 years, he is survived by his children; Alfredo Luna, Jr. and his wife Bethany, Carlos Luna and his wife Dawn and Miriam Aponte; cherished grandchildren, Samantha, Victoria, Grady, Donovan,Melanie Jennifer and Jose and his siblings, Wilson (MD), Arturo, Manuel, Maximina, Elsie and Judy. He was predeceased by his son, Edward Luna and his siblings, Edwina, Negrin and Eusebio.
A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, March 12th at 11:00 am at the Cody-White Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Kings Highway Cemetery. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, March 11th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St. Milford, CT 06460.
