Angelina B. (Tremonto) Sarnik Parise, age 84, of Stratford, CT, entered into eternal rest Saturday, August 17, 2013 with her family by her side at Yale New Haven Medical Center. "Angie" was born in Stratford, CT, the daughter of Donato and Nicodema (Maldestino) Tremonto and resided in Stratford all of her life. She was the loving wife of the late Gerald G. Parise and a loving Mom, Grandmother and Great Grandmother to her family. Angie, in her lifetime had worked at Remington Products and also worked for the Stratford Bus Company driving the "Special Needs" children. Angie was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her and she took great pleasure in welcoming and cooking for everyone who came into her home including all her family, neighbors and friends. Angie always loved having a house full of people especially when her children were growing up, Angie's house was the house all the children gathered. She was "MOM" to everyone and everyone loved Angie as much as she loved them. Everyone knew that if you were hungry to go see Angie because she will cook and feed you. Angie's calling in life was "The Caregiver" and she loved with the passion to take care of people. Angie's survivors include her son Daniel Sarnik and his wife Paula of North Haven, CT; her daughter Angela Mealy and her husband Sylvester of Osage, IA; a step son Peter Parise and his wife Debbie of Corona , CA; a step daughter Cindy Nobles and her husband Bob of Rumford, ME; a brother Anthony Tremonto of Naugatuck, CT; and Angie's many grandchildren, John Mealy, Adam Sarnik, Dawn Fay, Dana Mailhot, Jessie Kimball, Jerry Parise, Billy and Cliff Burns, Matthew Parise, Nichole Espino (Jeremy), Jessica Hydro (Chris) and Rachel Parise. Angie had 15 Great Grandchildren plus several nieces and nephews. Angie was predeceased by her parents, two sons Joseph and Anthony Sarnik and one Grandson John Sarnik. Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford, CT. Friends may visit with the family before service time from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Interment in Union Cemetery, Stratford will be private.
