Angelo Radano Obituary
Angelo Radano, age 59 of Middletown, Connecticut, passed away at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Angelo was born in Norwalk, Connecticut to Angelo and Katherine Radano on February 18, 1954. Angelo was a successful entrepreneur, technical writer, quality inspector and a telecommunications manager. He was truly a jack of all trades and master of them all. He enjoyed tennis, camping, cycling, kayaking, music, films, recreational drumming, sports, and spending time with his beloved children, grandson and rescued companion animals. Angelo is survived by his children, Caitlin E. and Angelo M. Radano, his son-in-law, Anthony W. Sorge, his cherished grandson, Angelo J. Radano, and his brothers Joseph and Frank Radano. Visitation will be held at Honan Funeral Home in Newtown, Connecticut on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima in Newtown, Connecticut. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Angelo's rescued cats, Zorro and Esperanza, please send memorial contributions to Meriden Humane Society, 311 Murdock Avenue, Meriden, Connecticut 06450.

To the family of Angleo Radano, I wish to express my deepest sympathy. I only found out yesterday 2/22/2013 while speaking with another SNET/ATT tech. Angelo was always my GO-TO-MAN when I had a hot issue with a circuit. Never meeting him in person, I always felt we had been friends for years. I will keep your family in my prayers. Rest In Peace.

I have worked with Angelo at ATT for well over a decade, and he was always such an upbeat guy.I remember a number of years ago he took young Angelo, then a teenager, to see my Nirvana Tribute Band at Toad's Place.Such a good egg always.Angelo, I will miss passing you in the hall.

Angelo was always there to help at SNET aka ATT. I was shocked when I heard the sad news. I just called him a short while ago to remind him how much I missed him, and the old PRI group in Connecticut. He was full of life, and always put a smile on my face. My sincere sympathy goes out to the family. May he rest in peace. God Bless.

Angelo and I were in the Boy Scouts together and worked with him during his time with the Norwalk PD. He was always caring and was a terrific guy. The Radano family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I grew up with Angelo from St Thomas to Central Catholic. He was a cop for a short time but I think he had a big heart and wanted to do more. God bless Ange and your family.

Angelo was one of my close friends in high school and right after. Will always remember his spontaneous sense of humor. His talent as a football player was instrumental in Cental Catholic High School's winning seasons between 1968 and 1972. Angelo's passing certainly brings to me a great sadness and reflection upon the years I had known him.
