David Yarri Obituary
David Wolt Yarri, age 80, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017 in Milford Hospital. He was born on June 16, 1936 in Shreveport, LA to the late Reuben and Grace Collins Yarri. Mr. Yarri proudly served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. Before retiring, he was a Captain for Delta Airlines. A devoted husband and brother, he is survived by his loving wife, of 50 years, Inge Moerschner Yarri and his sister Virginia Lanzkron and her husband Rolf of Ft Lauderdale, FL. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his interest is boating, reading, classic cars and classical music. Calling hours are Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 3pm to 5pm at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 N Broad St., Milford. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 13th in Milford Cemetery, Gulf St., Milford at 11:00am with Pastor Chris Files. We will miss out old friend Dave who we shared many fine days visiting at our homes and in Ct. and VT. Traveling to Germany with Dave and Inga was so much fun and he was always ready for a trip. Dave was a real gentleman and I was proud that he called us his friends.
