Dorothy Bonaventura Obituary

Bonaventura, Dorothy R.
Dorothy R. Gillus Bonaventura, age 82, of Stratford and formerly of Trumbull, loving wife of the late Paul Bonaventura, died on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at her home. She was born in Bridgeport on August 17, 1931. Dorothy's greatest passion in life was the time she had spent with her cherished granddaughter Mia. Survivors include two daughters, Paula Bekech and her husband Michael of Trumbull and Kathleen DaSilva of Ellington, two sons, Patrick and Thomas Baker, both of Stratford, grandchildren, Mia Bekech, Theresa DaSilva and Patrick, Michael and Thomas Baker. She was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Harrold. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, April 16, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may greet the family at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
