Eleanor Duhancik Obituary
Eleanor Duhancik, age 88, of Milford, beloved wife of the late George Duhancik, died on Wednesday April 2. Eleanor was born in Bridgeport, CT on August 29, 1925 to the late William and Eleanor Stomski Tanski. Survivors include her children: David Duhancik (Deborah) of Milford, Michael Duhancik (Elizabeth) of Oregon, Linda Merriam of Milford, sister; Teresa Gendron and Raymond Tanski (Edith) both of Stratford, six grandchildren; Joshua and Megan Duhancik and Senior Airman, Jeremy Duhancik, Nicholas and Steven Duhancik and Joseph Merriam and several nieces and nephews. Eleanor is pre-deceased by a brother, William Tanski and sisters; Irene Halpin and Veronica Tanski. Friends may greet the family on Saturday morning from 9:00AM-10:00AM in The Gregory F Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford. A service will be held in the funeral home at 10:00AM followed by interment in Saint Mary Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VA Hospital, 950 Campbell Avenue, West Haven, CT 06516. To leave an online condolence, please visit www.gregoryfdoylefuneralhome.com.
