Elizabeth Shea Obituary
Elizabeth D. Shea, age 47, of Milford, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2014 in her home. She was born on April 20, 1966 in Norwalk to the late Joseph and Barbara White Daher. An avid reader, Elizabeth was employed as the office manager for Dr. Sloan DDS. A devoted mother, she is survived by her son Robert J. Shea of Milford and his father John W. Shea and grandmother Barbara H. Shea both of Derby. She is also survived by her loving companion Thom McFarland of Milford and his daughters Katie Caramanica of West Haven and Kellie McFarland of Orange, brothers George Daher of New Haven, Peter Daher of Norwalk, Christopher Daher of Wilton, and John Daher of Norwalk, sisters Mary Daher of Milford, Loretta Daher and Laura Daher both of Stratford, seventeen nieces and nephews, seven great nieces and great nephews, five cousins and two aunts. Calling hours are 4 to 8pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, A prayer service will be held during the calling hours at 7:30pm. Elizabeth and Thom were almost daily visitors to the Kimberly Diner, always with a smile and kind word, she lit up the place. She will be deploy missed and always in our thoughts and prayers, may God bless her soul and give her peace.
