When I am on stage, sometimes I look to my left and I can still see him sitting behind the Hammond B3. Frank was like a brother to me. After long rehearsals we used to sit and talk about life and how far our talent would take us. LOVE YOU BROTHER, Rest.

Wow, so shocked to read of Frankie Michael's passing. I had a little girl crush on him as Tommy Hughes on As The World Turns, not knowing that he too was from Bridgeport. I saw him in Bridgeport's PT Barnum 4th of July Parade sometime in the 60s and in my 20s he was playing at a restaurant in Darien, CT and I told him of my little girl crush. May he RIP, condolences to his family.

I am speechless tonight. I just found out about his passing. The last time I spoke to Frankie was about 2 years ago. He told me he was doing fine. Many of you don't know me. Frankie and I met in grammer school. Seventh grade to be exact. Fannie smith school, Bridgeport, Ct. When he found out I played drums a few years later I ending up on the road with his band. I also performed with him as a duo in many venues in the northeast. We had an extremely powerful duo together and were untouchable in the genres of music we performed. Frankie was a special person and a great talent. I was searching for his phone number tonight and instead ran into his obituary. I am very sad. I am performing as a solo in southwest florida. His photo will be up on my website shortly. www.ronspataroshow.com. Love you brother, may our LORD JESUS take you into his arms. There, you will find rest.

where do i start? i worked for you at the jolly roger, took care of your house when i was doing my lawn business. you took me into your home like i was family and even shared your "secrets" that i have always kept, and your trust by not sharing them .when we went in different directions you still showed up in my life, whether it was performing in outdoor shows, seeing you in the store, or just driving by when i was doing traffic for the fire department. always a smile, a hello how the hell are you doing, and truly glad to see each other. you had an amazing life, even though there were issues you still were a fantastic friend never burdening anyone . i will truly miss you and hope to see you one day again, say hi to my parents if you see them R.I.P. my friend.

Frank was a great musician, singer--a real pro. I was Frank's drummer in his eponymous "Road Show" in the late 70's. We shared the sacrifices and the creative joy common among all touring musicians. And he generously shared his great depth of show-business experience with all of us "sidemen." He was a good friend; I am shocked and saddened by his passing. My sincere condolences to his family and my prayers for his everlasting peace.

I will always cherish the memories we shared all the Christmas's, Thanksgiving's and Easter's and the wonderful vacation we had. There was never a dull moment living with him, his goal was to always make everyone laughing and just have fun, and enjoy each other's company.
