Dear Carolyne,
I am so sorry to hear that your beloved Mother has died. I know how close you were to her , and how great your loss is. I lost my father to cancer my senior year of High School and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss him. I want you to know that no matter where you are or what you do you can always share you hopes and dreams with your Mother in heaven. I find this ability to share comforting and as Catholics knowing that we will meet again in Heaven helps.I send you and your family my deepest sympathy. love, Dr. keating, Providence College.

I had the pleasure of working with Kate for eight years. To me, she was an ideal for professional dedication while sharing her wonderful humanity with her colleagues. As a new parent, I learned much from her about maintaining a focus on your loved ones while putting in a good day's work. I pray that the Lord will send you peace and consolation in the days, months, and years ahead with an appreciation for all that Kate held dear.

I have known Kate for many years. I was lucky enough to work with her which led to a long lasting friendship. I will not forget the great trips we took and the get togethers at her house and on the beach. She was such an inspiration to me and will be so missed. My thoughts are with you. Amy Amaru

Katie and I met as employees at Stauffer Chemical in Westport and had shared an apartment years ago. We went thru several life changes together in our 20s. She was a lovely person, truly one of the nicest I have known. I am so sorry to see this very sad news. My heartfelt condolences to the Keanes and Ventricellis.

The first time I met Kate, we were watching our boys play youth hockey at Harbor Yard. She complimented me on my sweater, and I knew I liked her from that moment on. In addition to being the classiest hockey mom at the rink, Kate was one of the kindest, gentlest women I had the honor of knowing. Our family was heartbroken to learn the sad news of her passing, and we extend our most sincere condolences to all of you.
