Maria Pruss Wilson, age 88, of Milford, the widow of Edward Milowski, and Cleveland Wilson, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs. Wilson, a retired employee of Best Western Hotels, was born in Poland to the late Stephen and Catherine Pruss and has been a long time Milford resident. She was a member of the Ladies Guild at St. Michael's Church, and was a member and volunteer for the Milford Senior Center, most of all, she enjoyed helping others. Survivors include her nieces, Linda Murasky and her husband Walter, and Barbara Chechoski and her husband Chet, nephews, Nicholas Steiz and his fiancé Kathy Finnegan, and Thomas Steiz and his wife Sheryl, and several other nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Friday, February 28th at 11 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 11:30 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Monroe.
