Marion L. "Betty" Snow, age 91, of Northford entered into rest on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Masonicare in Wallingford. She was the devoted wife of the late Charles William Snow. Mrs. Snow was born in Beacon, NY, on July 9, 1922, daughter of the late John and Golden (McCune) Patton and was a Shelton resident from 1969-1999 before moving to Northford. She was the secretary to the owner of Nichols Engineering in Shelton until her retirement in 1983. Later, she worked at the Personnel Department for Lord Corporation for 10 years. Mrs. Snow volunteered at Griffin Hospital and was a member of the Shelton Senior Center. She is also a U.S. Navy Veteran in WWII. She is the beloved mother of Larry J. Snow and his wife Valerie of Northford, stepmother of, the late Allyn Snow and the late Darlene O'Conor, loving grandmother of Jeffry and Ryan Snow, Dominque DeMarco and William Lansbury, great-grandmother of Alex Snow, Sherry and Carmine Ragone and Jenna Lansbury. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:30 - 10:30a.m. at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton. Her funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the parlor. Her burial with full military honors will be at Riverside Cemetery.
