Marjorie Filippone Obituary
Marjorie H. Filippone, age 85, a longtime Fairfield resident, beloved wife of the late Louis Filippone, passed away peacefully Monday, July 18, 2016. Survivors include her three sons, Frank of Fairfield, Al of Darien, and Marc of Norwalk, grandchildren Ryan, Giovanni, Rosalie and Melanie and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Eleanor Adams of Fairfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 22, 2016 at 10 a.m. meeting DIRECTLY at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1719 Post Rd., Fairfield with interment to follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Marjorie's memory may be made to Parkinson's research at, www.michaeljfox.org.

It doesnt seem like aunt marge has been gone for so long. I think of her at least once a day and still miss our telephone chats. She will always be in my heart along with the rest of the family. You were such a good person to everyone. I love you

I was so sad to hear about my Aunt
Marge's passing. She was the best
Aunt anyone could have. She cared
and loved all of her family so much.
From the time I was a young girl and
through my teenage and adult years
we remained very close. Even though we were 3,000 miles apart we talked at least 3 times a week until the end.I will miss the calls and wish I had one more so I could tell her how much she meant to me and the rest of my family.
I hope she is having a cup of tea with my mom and my sister and a big hug and kiss for Uncle Lou.

My deepest condolences to the entire Filippone family. Those we love remain with us...For love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one's gone. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart, for as long as there is memory, they'll live on in the heart.
