Dear Pat, I remember your stepmom well from the days that Janice and I were in Rainbow Girls together. She was a lovely woman and the young, kind face I remember was still easily recognizable in her photo. When I saw the obituary on-line, I contacted several of our SHS'55 classmates who had asked me about you over the years, as you have been missed at our class reunions. Like Gail (Glynn) Conners, I would welcome the chance to be in touch with you again after so many years. In the meantime, Rod joins me in expressing our sympathy to you and your family. Dear Pat,
I remember your pretty step mom and send my sympathy for your loss. I am sorry that this is the way I finally can contact you again. I have thought about you often throughout the years and asked many of our classmates about you. Thank goodness that Sandy Kaiser McFarland remembered that and sent me news of your stepmom's passing.
As I matured, I recognized how much of a positive force you had on my life. Your kindness, intelligence and sensitivity were characteristics less often developed in an adolescent. I would love to be in touch if that is acceptable to you. I hope Marjorie's spirit and the rest of the family forgive me for taking time away from a well deserved eulogy for her. My email:
