Michael Shapiro Obituary
Michael Shapiro, age 62, of Milford, passed away unexpectedly on May 13, 2014 at his home. Mr. Shapiro was born in Bridgeport, a son of the late Henry and Shirley Shapiro. He worked in the plumbing trade for his professional career. Survivors include his loving daughter Kimberly Bacik and her husband Dan of Watertown, his twin brother Robert and his wife Sharron of Stratford, his brother David and his wife Susan of Fairfield, adored grandchildren Autumn and Evan Bacik and his nieces and nephews. Services will take place on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Rd. Fairfield. Interment will take place at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery.

We were shocked to hear of Michael passing away.He was such a nice guy.Dan and I would laugh about all the funny stories Bob and him would tell.I really loved all the football stories. The twins worked so well together. I've lost a great friend, smiling , stories he told we'd laugh about, breaking bread together from a great eatery I found. My heart pains for his inseparable twin and the family. The family is in my prayers. May God give them comfort and peace in this difficult time.
